Our Pharmacists

TIM LICHLYTER, Owner/Registered Pharmacist

Tim graduated from Washington State University in 1980. After graduation, he moved to Central Point, Oregon to be near his parents, who had relocated to Oregon's Rogue Valley after Tim finished high school. Tim worked that summer at Central Drug in Medford, and decided to become a part owner of Central Drug. Tim is married to Carol, and they have two children, Kayla, now a college student, and her younger brother Sam. Tim was a Boy Scout in his youth, earning the rank of Eagle Scout, and now helps with Sam's local scout troop. In college, Tim enjoyed mountain climbing and climbed Mt. Raineer twice and Mt. Hood. He also road a bicycle from Medford to Buffalo, New York.

 

LILA MOSCHETTI, Registered Pharmacist

Lila has lived in Southern Oregon her entire life. She grew up in the beautiful Illinois Valley, and graduated from Illinois Valley High School in 1992. She went straight into pre-pharmacy curriculum at Southern Oregon State College (now Southern Oregon University) in Ashland. Shortly thereafter, she obtained her first job in pharmacy at Jacksonville Drug, where her love for small town community pharmacy blossomed. She was accepted to Oregon State University college of Pharmacy in the fall of 1994. Upon completion of classes, internships, and board exams, she became a licensed pharmacist in August 1997. She spent the first four years of her practive as a clinical consultant pharmacist for nursing and assisted living homes. Since July 2001, she has been practicing community retail pharmacy for Central Drug Store, Inc. (Black Oak and Shady Cove Pharmacies), and is currently the pharmacist-in-charge at Shady Cove Pharmacy. Her passions in pharmacy include geriatric care and customer interaction. She and her husband thoroughly enjoy living and working in the upper Rogue Valley where they enjoy activities such as gardening, fishing, horseback riding, and playing with their four dogs.

Our Store Manager

SHANNON GARRISON, Store Manager

Shannon was hired at Black Oak Pharmacy in 1996, almost a year after graduating high school. She was hired for the position of a card clerk. After a few months of doing that position she was trained in all other positions that were offered at the pharmacy including pharmacy technician 2 days out of the week. About a year later she was given a full time position as a pharmacy tech. She feels very fortunate to have worked side by side with owner and pharmacist Tim Lichlyter for the next 5 years. In that time she became head Tech and tried to learn everything she could from Tim. When Tim and Carol purchased Shady Cove Pharmacy in 2002 they offered her the position as Store Manager for Shady Cove. She accepted and has been there ever since. What once was a job became a career for Shannon. She loves being a part of Central Drug Store, Inc.
